Contextually speaking, BARMMula means from Bahasa Sug to English 'restart'. It's a blog title of Supersam or Sir Moore, former Public School District Supervisor of Indanan South District, Division of Sulu from July 16, 2012, to April 30, 2019. A Technical Staff position is an unofficial work of Supersam while he is in detail under the Office of the Education Support Division headed by Dir. Alfhadar J. Pajiji serving as one of the Cabinet Secretaries of MBHTE- BARMM Minister, Prof. Mohagher M. Iqbal. Sir Moore sometimes serves as an Alternate of Direk Pajiji to various conferences, meetings, planning, training, seminars, and other programs and projects of EdSup in the regional office of BARMM. Sir Samoore S. Ladjahali is one of the technical assets of Direk Fhadz in the field of educational aspects. This year 2021, BARMMula Admin has engaged with diverse education partners such as PBed (Philippine Business for Education), EAI (Equal Access International), NTF-ELCAC (National Task Force-End-Local Communist Armed Conflict), or locally-named BTF-ELAC (Bangsamoro Task Force-Ending Local Armed Conflict) and GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). To be one of the personnel in the regional office was an aspiration of Supersam during his reign in ISD. He had encourage his school administrators to perform more effectively as school leaders in preparation for district leadership and administration someday because he would leave ISD in the near future to establish office in the regional level. However, possibilities of his aspiration remain unknown Supersam's mind and vision until a circumstances which were beyond his expectation took place when his family circles and close relatives were engaged with clan feud in April, 2019. Thus, Schools Division Superintendent, Ph.D. Hji. Kiram K. Irilis strongly endorsed Sir Moore for detail in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Special Programs and Projects headed by Mr. Alfhadar J. Pajiji on January 15, 2020. Both Asec for SPP and Academics assisted SDS Irilis and Supersam for the appearance of Sir Moore before the Officer-In-Charge in the absence of MBHTE Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal a day before the opening program of BARMMAA 2020 held in South Upi, Maguindanao. The OIC agreed with the suggestions of both Asec that Sir Moore should be accommodated in the regional office in so far as high performance shown by Supersam in ISD was concerned. Recently, the Office of the Asec for SPP has been restructured by virtue of administrative code to the Education Support Division, one of the cabinet secretaries of the MBHTE Minister. This division includes sections like Education Facilities, DRRM, National Management Programs, Government and Partnership Affairs, and Awards and Scholarship. Any of those five above-mentioned sections have a 22-salary grade level which is equal to PSDS position. Direk has advised Supersam to apply for a certain section of his division in order to vacate his district position as district supervisor of Indanan South District, Division of Sulu. DRRM Section is the preference of Direk Fhadz for Sir Moore. Since 2007 while Sir Moore was school head of Pasil Elementary School, he has been a partner of Prof. Albert M. Santoli, President of the Asia America Initiative. on the well-known international NGO. He was able to connect ISD comprising eleven elementary schools and 7 primary schools with AAI in 2012 when he played the role of District In-Charge. Prof. Santoli requested Supersam to create a name similar to his program in Visayas called Model Of Bayanihan Education. He wanted the word bayanihan translated into Tausug (Bahasa Sug) word starting with the same letter B. Supersam found the appropriate Tausug word for bayanihan as bawgbug until MOBE has stood for Model Of Bawgbug Education. Later, Supersam also made BAWGBUG as an acronym stands for Baran (Body), Alta' (Wealth), Waktu (Time), Gastu (Spending), Baktulan (Composition/Policy), Usaha (Earning/Income), and Gaus (Ability/Power). Lastly, all the adopted schools of AAI in Sulu are under one name MOBE schools of AAI. In 2014, Asec Pajiji designated as Regional Focal/Coordinator for AAI moved down to DepED-Sulu for the creation of the Division AAI Committee. Within the 4-year partnership of Supersam and Santoli, the seven primary schools were elevated into complete elementary schools and the entire eighteen elementary schools of ISD have become recipient schools of AAI. AAI programs and projects in ISD centered on book supplies, school children fun activities, gulayan sa paaralan, health and hygiene (water sanitation, soap and medicines, eyeglasses and weighing scale), nutrition-focused on school-based feeding program, financial assistance, infra on school shack construction and school building repair and sports equipment. There were also some consolation prizes, awards, gifts, and other forms of charity sincerely given by Prof. Santoli. |
In 2012, Supersam was first in DepED-Sulu to formally reorganize the municipal school board based on RA 7160 in partnership with MLGU of Indanan headed by Hon. Mayor Saripuddin D. Jikiri. It has been named IMSB (Indanan Municipal School Board) and has been officially recognized by DepED-Sulu Division SDS in 2013 when both Indanan North District and Indanan South District began to conduct district selection meet at Timbangan Elementary School Sports Ground in preparation for the one-Indanan delegation to the SPAAM (Sulu Provincial Athletic Association Meet) 2013. Sir Moore gained his popularity in the regional office of DepED-ARMM during his participation in the special face-to-face program called DSLP (District Supervisors Leadership Program) from September to December 2012. One of the monitoring team members of DSLP was Asec Fhadz. That time, Direk Fhadz was just Executive Assistant to the Secretary of DepEd-ARMM, Atty. Jamar M. Kulayan. In October 2012, DepED-ARMM conducted for the very first time in the annals of ARMM free financial expenses for the takers of NQESH (National Qualifying Examination for School Head) which now called Principal's Test. Alhamdulillah, Sir Moore has been one of those successful passers in the said NQESH. Sir Moore was just a TIC (Teacher In-Charge) in 2007 but retired In-Charge of the District, Hji. Masihul S. Sajili designated him as Temporary District Caretaker with the approval of OIC SDS, Hji. Delfin M. Unga, NEAP. The district turn-over was made on April 27, 2007. Sir Moore ran ISD until August 8, 2007, when was installed as TIC of the biggest school inside ISD, Pasil Elementary School. One of the primary schools in ISD annexed to Bunot Primary School where Sir Moore established his official school leadership was Mukammali Primary School. It was the first entry of Sir Moore to the realm of school leadership in ISD in 2006. After a year, his official main school campus, Bunot Primary School remained the same status, but he was able to elevate his annex school Mukammali into complete elementary school. So when he became Temporary District Caretaker in 2007, installed Jurmainna H. Hunding as TIC of Bunot Primary School and Melda I. Adug as TIC of Mukammali Elementary School. In 2005, Sir Moore started his Master of Arts in Education at the Notre Dame of Jolo College Graduate Studies. After two years, he lost a chance to take a comprehensive examination due to time constraints affecting his time in school leadership. He only completed all the subjects and units prescribed for the academic requirements. It was in 2016 he successfully passed the compre and proceeded to thesis writing 1. He was able to defend his study from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5 before the panel, but the panel suggested a change of study for him, which in turn made him discouraged as he observed it contradicted the agreement or policy made for the pre-oral defense for the submission of at least three titles or topic of the study. This semester, Sir Moore has submitted TOR for evaluation of MACFI (Mindanao Autonomous College Foundation Inc.) for his admission to complete his MAED. Sir Omar H. Gani has bridged Sir Moore to MACFI, who advised him to prepare research titles for his thesis. Partially, these are the three(3) research titles: 1. Assessment of Knowledge, Skills, and Values Among Selected MBHTE Regional Staff on Moral Governance; 2. Governance: Its Effect in Education Quality and Access in Sulu; and 3. Challenges of Education Governance: MBHTE-BARMM Relationship With DepED-Central Office. This title study has been extracted from the day-and-night discussion with Direk Fhadz relative to education issues and concerns in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. District PESS Coordinator position served as the vehicle of Sir Moore to the gate of school leadership in 2005. Frankly, Sir Moore was not a sports-minded teacher based on his skill in sports although he loved to watch some games in the provincial athletic competitions. Actually, a baseball game was his favorite when he was an elementary student, but he failed to enhance his skill because of phobia when he was hit by the ball. As a result, many of the teachers in ISD could hardly accept his designation order as DPC signed by Dr. Amy U. Malbun, CESO V. However, he had many good practices introduced to school-to-school sports activities and innovations particularly the introduction of soccer football in the entire ISD elementary schools. 17-year classroom teacher experience enriched Sir Moore's preparation to soar high from Panglima Indanan Central School to the regional office. In this period, 10-year service was shared with Islamic propagation called Tabligh from 1990 to 2001. He has traveled as far as Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh three times. He also brought his better-half for 4-month ladies' jamaa (mastura) in 1996.  |
