BTA Resolution No. 422: Ramadhan Allowance

 

BARMM Followers, Facebook Fanpage posted photocopy of Resolution Number 422 entitled: Resolution Requesting the Office of the Chief Minister to Authorize the Grant of Ramadhan Allowance to All Personnel and Employees of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The resolution was tackled during the 2nd Regular Session until it was finally approved. With regards to the amount of allowance to be granted might be more increasing than those days' Ramadhan bonus is given to every teaching and non-teaching personnel of the previous administration because this resolution has cited the amount of Christmas bonus which is equivalent to 1-month salary given by the national government. This is indeed one of the amazing accomplishments of the BARMM that makes her funded personnel more passionate and loyal to the newly-established BARMM Government aspiring for BTA extension.

In the previous administration, ARMM Government appropriated only P 5,000.00 Ramadhan bonus for every personnel officially hired in the different offices or agencies. Sometimes, it was reduced to P 3, 000.00 for every government worker. The amount was not fixed. Likewise, there was no assurance for every year's grant. It would just depend on the discretion of the government head or the regional governor. It seemed that the Ramadhan bonus was not as memorable as the Christmas bonus that could be expected every December of the year.
